Beyond its implications for security, Tanui identified cybersecurity as a burgeoning job market for young Kenyans. With a global shortage of approximately 1.3 million cybersecurity professionals, he urged young people to pursue skills in this area. Opportunities exist not only in private sectors like hospitals and supermarkets but also within government and international organizations.
