Currently serving as the deputy chief operating officer for technology and enterprise data for the University of North Carolina System, he boasts nearly 30 years of experience in progressively responsible leadership roles. His previous tenure as vice president for technology and chief information officer for the UNC System from 2022 to 2024 reflects his depth of knowledge in this field.

His educational journey continued at Liberty University, where he obtained an MBA, culminating in a Ph.D. in leadership studies from North Carolina A&T.
